About The Role

Join Suno, a music-focused company, as an Engineering Manager. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll lead a team building core product and platform capabilities for over 100 million creators. You'll set technical direction, grow your team, and partner with product, design, and data science to deliver exceptional experiences. You'll also navigate the full development lifecycle, champion engineering craft, and contribute to Suno's mission of making creative fulfillment a daily reality for everyone.

Lead a team in building core product and platform capabilities, shaping system design, and driving execution.
Set technical direction, grow the team, and ensure scalable, high-quality systems that serve millions of creators.
Partner with product management, design, and data science to define roadmaps, scope projects, and ship features.
5–7 years managing a software engineering team, with a track record of shipping impactful consumer products
A demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain strong engineers — you care deeply about growing people’s careers
Comfort thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while keeping your team focused across multiple priorities
Experience translating ambiguous problems into clear plans and shipped features alongside product, design, and data science partners
Hands-on experience building and operating systems at scale in a production environment
Strong technical foundation — you can review code, guide architectural decisions, and jump into the codebase when needed
Forward-looking perspective on integrating AI and agentic coding into production engineering workflows
A love of music (listening, exploring, making — we’re not picky about genre)
Time spent at both larger organizations and smaller, high-growth startups
Experience at a consumer tech or creator-platform company
Familiarity with AI/ML-powered product development
Working knowledge of Python, TypeScript, consumer media systems, or real-time systems
