About The Role
Join our team as a Product UI/UX Designer, where you will collaborate with other designers and product managers to create user-friendly designs that drive adoption, engagement, and satisfaction. You will lead UX and UI efforts to deliver performance management software for HR professionals, and have the opportunity for growth as our product team expands. Your responsibilities will include translating our product roadmap into simple and clean user experiences, collaborating with engineers in agile scrum teams, and enhancing and maintaining the PerformYard UI design system. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of professional UI design and UX experience, experience with Figma, and a background in web application development.
- Collaborate with product managers and other designers to translate product requirements into user-friendly designs.
- Lead UX and UI efforts to deliver scalable performance management software for HR professionals.
- Enhance and help maintain the PerformYard UI design system, ensuring consistency and quality across products.
- The ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, efficient, detail-oriented, and organized in their UX and UI design approach
- Experience designing and working on component-driven user interfaces and leveraging atomic design
- 3+ years of professional UI design and UX experience on a commercial browser-based SaaS product
- Portfolio of past product design work that demonstrates your skills in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
- 1+ years of Figma Design Experience
- Experience working in an agile/scrum-based development process and with other UI/UX designers
- Experience designing for Accessibility (WCAG 2.x AA/AAA.)
- Prior hands-on web application development experience (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, HTML, React)
- UI/UX Design experience with HRIS, Employee Management, or other business-oriented (B2B) applications
- Bachelor’s degree in human factors, UX, or UI design
- Experience maintaining and evolving a design system and UI component library
