Clearing Operations Derivatives Analyst (VIE)

This position, based in Rome, offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the financial industry. You will be responsible for delivering daily post-trade services for derivatives, managing corporate actions, overseeing physical delivery expiries, and acting as the primary liaison for clearing members. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field, and at least one successful internship or work experience in the financial industry.

• Delivering daily post-trade services for derivatives, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and quality.
• Managing corporate actions across derivatives products, ensuring precise execution and clear communication with clients.
• Overseeing physical delivery expiries on commodities products, monitoring matching, reconciliations, reporting and escalating breaches to safeguard business rules.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or a related field.
• At least one successful internship or work experience in the financial industry, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business.
• Strong interest in clearing operations, with a focus on derivatives and commodities products.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
• Fluent in English; Italian is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel; knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus.
• Fast learner with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
