BI and Analytics Engineer Manager

Join Peregrine as the Manager of BI and Analytics Engineering. In this high-visibility role, you will shape the company's data modeling, access, and usage. You will own the architecture and execution of the internal analytics stack, partnering with stakeholders across various departments. Your responsibilities will include scaling the data warehouse, building and maintaining ETL pipelines, designing data models, creating dashboards, and supporting planning and forecasting. • Own and scale the data warehouse to support a fast-growing Go-To-Market and product ecosystem.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using dbt to integrate data from tools, apps, and third-party platforms.
• Design clean, reusable data models that power reporting across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
• Comfort working autonomously and owning projects end-to-end
• Located in San Francisco, CA and willing to work in our headquarters
• Strong product and business sense — you know how to balance technical purity with speed, scalability, and impact
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, Mode, Sigma, or similar
• Proficiency in dbt, modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)
• Strong command of SQL and data modeling best practices
• 4+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer in a fast-growing tech environment
