Backend Engineer

Join Tipalti, a fast-growing fintech company, as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling third-party integration capabilities, contributing to the full software development lifecycle, and collaborating closely with Product, Design, and external partners. You will design, build, and maintain robust and scalable software, lead the development of third-party integrations, and mentor other engineers. • Contribuir al desarrollo y mantenimiento de software robusto, escalable y bien probado en toda la pila.
• Liderar el desarrollo de integraciones de terceros con plataformas externas, aplicaciones SaaS y socios tecnológicos.
• Participar en discusiones de arquitectura y diseño, ayudando a dar forma a la dirección técnica.
• Strong experience building backend systems using C# and Node.js
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Bull/Redis)
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining third-party integrations with external platforms and services
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong understanding of API design and integration patterns, including REST, webhooks, and asynchronous communication
• Comfortable working across the full stack when needed
• Strong understanding of software design principles and clean coding practices
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or SOAP)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience working with SQL (MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
