Senior Hardware Test Engineer

Join Humanoid, a company on a mission to build the world's most capable and safe humanoid robots. As a Senior Validation Engineer, you will own the in-house test infrastructure that validates our humanoid robots. You will design and build custom mechanical jigs and fixtures, commission rigs on the validation floor, and work closely with system/component owners to translate validation needs into testable infrastructure. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical and electrical design skills, as well as experience in hardware validation and test engineering.

• Lead the arrangement of test rigs and jigs for in-house validation of subsystems and full robots, deciding what gets built, what gets bought, and how they integrate into the validation workflow.
• Work directly with the owners of each robot subsystem to define what needs to be validated, at what coverage, and with what fidelity, and convert the resulting scope into validation plans.
• Identify, evaluate, and order parts and equipment from external suppliers, manage relationships with suppliers of test equipment and custom fabricated parts.
