Software Engineer (iOS)

Join our team as a Software Engineer (iOS) and play a crucial role in shaping the future of inspiration on Pinterest. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build robust frameworks and features, empowering both developers and users. You will have the opportunity to find creative solutions to challenging problems and drive new initiatives from inception to release. This position requires a strong understanding of iOS development, collaboration skills, and a passion for building high-quality products.

• Collaborer avec les chefs de produit, les designers et les ingénieurs backend pour construire des frameworks et des fonctionnalités robustes.
• Participer à chaque étape du processus de développement du produit, de l'idéation à la mise en œuvre, en passant par le prototypage rapide et les tests A/B.
• Utiliser des tests automatisés pour construire des fonctionnalités de haute qualité technique, en prenant la responsabilité des composants et des fonctionnalités que vous développez.
• Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Deep understanding of iOS development and best practices in Objective C and/or Swift, e.g. xCode, app states, memory management, etc
• 2+ years of industry iOS application development experience, building consumer or business facing products
• Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers
