Sales Engineer (West Coast)

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the technical partner to our commercial sales team, helping customers understand how our platform solves real-world fleet challenges. You will work directly with customers and collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Service, and Sales to develop technical solutions that accelerate vehicle adoption. • Act as the technical partner to the commercial sales team, helping customers understand how Harbinger’s platform solves real-world fleet challenges.
• Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and customer presentations, and serve as the technical expert on Harbinger’s vehicle platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and communicate customer feedback that shapes future products.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a wide range of audiences
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, highly collaborative startup environment
• Strong understanding of automotive, commercial vehicles, electrification, industrial equipment, or related technologies
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering, Field Engineering, or another customer-facing technical role
• Knowledge of EV powertrains, charging infrastructure, or fleet operations
• Experience supporting commercial fleets or medium-duty vehicles
• Experience working with dealers, upfitters, or technical channel partners
