About The Role

Join Sonatype as a Senior Solutions Delivery Engineer (DevOps) and play a key role in guiding customers through the onboarding, migration, configuration, and optimization of our products. You will provide delivery leadership within the Solutions Delivery Engineering team, support engagement quality and consistency, and mentor other engineers. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the improvement of service templates and internal documentation. Guiding customers through onboarding, migration, configuration, and optimization of Sonatype products.
Providing delivery leadership within the Solutions Delivery Engineering team, supporting engagement quality, consistency, and best practices.
Acting as a point of escalation for complex or high-impact engagements, helping guide resolution while remaining within defined service scope.
Ability to work with Groovy, Bash, Python, Helm, or YAML when required
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, modern build ecosystems, and SDLC
At least 8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, software delivery, or related work
Demonstrated experience providing delivery leadership, peer guidance, or escalation support within a regional or team-based delivery environment
Knowledge of repository management, artifact workflows, CI and CD tools, containers, and orchestration
You are a US Citizen
Ability to lead customer engagements with clear communication, documentation, and ownership
Experience with migration or modernization projects
Exposure to enterprise DevOps, software security, or supply chain practices
Experience working with global, cross-functional teams
Familiarity with SaaS delivery models or cloud-based deployment patterns
