Senior Spacecraft Software Test Engineer

Join Impulse, a leading space technology company, as a Senior Spacecraft Software Test Engineer. In this role, you will design, write, and debug tests to ensure our flight software functions as intended in orbit. You will work closely with a fast-paced, agile software and GNC team, and your tests will include 'test like you fly' and 'day in the life' tests. You will also develop test plans for flight and ground software, implement flight software integration/regression tests in Python, and support the debug of flight software testing in C/C++. • Design, write, and debug tests to ensure flight software works as intended in orbit.
• Develop test plans for flight and ground software, and implement integration/regression tests in Python.
• Support the automatic running of integration tests as part of CI/CD, and work with GNC and ops to create ‘day in the life' tests.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience with Python and C++
• 3+ years developing test plans and test scripts for embedded applications
• Experience with spacecraft command and data handling software
• Experience with spacecraft operations
• Demonstrated ability of taking project ownership and working well in growing teams
