About The Role

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, and deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance developer toolsets and streamline SDLC processes, and troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Kubernetes, developer toolsets, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices
  • This role requires a strong understanding of modern Platform Engineering tools and practices, as well as a commitment to fostering a responsive, communicative, and collaborative environment
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration
  • Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Good networking knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • 3+ years of experience in a platform engineering or similar role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Golang or Python for scripting and automation
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and experience with ArgoCD
  • Proven experience with AWS cloud services
  • Experience with Github runners and other CI/CD tools and platforms
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Python or Java in the context of CICD
  • Certification in AWS or Kubernetes and experience with Backstage is a plus
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK and Grafana stacks
  • Experience with kOps is a plus
  • Knowledge of Cilium CNI is a plus
