About The Role

Join Ganymed Robotics as a Hardware Engineer and contribute to the design of parts and assemblies for our robotic platform for orthopedic surgery. You will be responsible for mechanical design, integration, and qualification of test benches, as well as documentation and compliance with medical device design controls. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, with 2-3 years of experience in a regulated, high-precision environment.

  • Contribuer à la conception de pièces et d'assemblages pour une plateforme robotique chirurgicale.
  • Assurer la conception mécanique, l'intégration et la qualification des bancs d'essai de vérification et de validation.
  • Maintenir la documentation des bancs d'essai dans le dossier de conception, en garantissant la traçabilité.

You hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent, with 2-3 years of experience designing mechanical/mechatronic systems in a regulated, high-precision environment — medical devices required, aerospace or similar industries a plus. Beyond your technical expertise, you bring a strong team spirit, a helicopter view that lets you connect the dots across disciplines, and you're energized by the complex challenges that come with working in such an innovative environment, dedicated to the wellbeing of patients.

**COMPETENCIES**

  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (part, assembly, drawing, simulation); experience with PDM systems is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of structural analysis, GD&T, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building test fixtures or benches with embedded measurement hardware, including scripting/automation (Python, LabVIEW, or similar).
  • Familiarity with design controls and DHF/DMR documentation; awareness of IEC 60601 and IEC 62304 is a plus.
  • Understanding of equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and calibration/metrology traceability requirements.
