Forward Deployed Engineer

Join Chalk, a high-growth startup, as a Forward Deployed Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with customers to build efficient feature pipelines for various use cases in healthcare, finance, and recommendation systems. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as an early employee and will be responsible for implementing Chalk technology, acting as the primary technical point of contact, and recommending new products to customers. • Collaborer avec les clients pour comprendre leurs besoins et concevoir des pipelines de fonctionnalités adaptés à leurs cas d'utilisation.

• You are an exceptional software engineer who is able to build bespoke technical solutions and partner with machine learning teams to develop Chalk’s proprietary infrastructure
• 4+ years experience of professional backend software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Previous experience as a forward-deployed engineer in a high-growth startup focusing on Machine Learning
• Understanding of Machine Learning Ops/Infrastructure
• Previous experience working with ML/data products or services
• Technical background including experience writing software, working as a data scientist, or building ML models
• Proficient in Python, SQL
• Experience working closely with sales teams and customers is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, storytelling, and analytical skills
