Infrastructure Engineer

Join Chalk, a high-growth start-up, as an Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will tackle challenging engineering problems with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. You will write code to automate orchestration and provisioning of infrastructure, build a platform for managing our hosted platform, and work closely with our Engineering and Sales teams. • Automate orchestration and provisioning of infrastructure to execute Chalk technology for customers.
• Build a platform for managing the hosted platform and deploying Chalk into customer-owned cloud accounts.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Sales teams, and help interview and grow the Engineering team.
• We are looking for a platform engineer with a strong background in infrastructure engineering
• Ability to collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
• Experienced in working with with AWS and/or GCP
• Experience working closely with sales teams and customers is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proficient in Python, Go, and/or Terraform
• Have experience setting up hosted cloud resources for multiple companies
• Understanding of Machine Learning Ops/Infrastructure
• Previous experience working with ML/data products or services
• 4+ years experience writing software to automate infrastructure management
