Head of Engineering

In this role, you will own the technology strategy, establish a high-performing engineering team, and make key architecture and infrastructure decisions. You will also lead the AI integration agenda and represent technology at the leadership level. • Own the technology strategy end-to-end and deliver against measurable milestones, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
• Establish engineering as a product partner, shaping the commercial roadmap and executing it, while leading the AI integration agenda across the product.
• Set the bar for a high-quality engineering team across hiring, standards, and culture, and ensure a high-performing team that can deliver on strategic objectives.
• – Commercially literate. Frames technology in terms of cost, risk, and revenue, and is comfortable in a board conversation
• – Has hired engineers and built teams before
• – Motivated by what gets shipped and what it delivers, not the sophistication of the solution
• – Hands-on technical depth: AWS-native, comfortable with architecture decisions, capable of writing production code when it matters
• – Scaled engineering in a DTC or subscription business. You know what breaks under real commercial pressure
