Strategic Finance Lead (Value)

Join Faire, a dynamic and data-driven company, as a Strategic Finance Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing capital allocation, supporting company-wide capital markets strategies, and leading strategic planning across key growth initiatives. You will work closely with various functions and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success.

• Identifying opportunities and executing in-depth analyses to inform product strategy and execution for Faire’s financial products.
• Owning forecasting, goal-setting, and tracking of key inputs that drive ROI across Faire’s financial value propositions.
• Leading strategic planning across key growth initiatives and new product launches, and enabling the organization to remain highly data-driven at scale.

• Analytical rigor: synthesize information, decompose problems, and use data and logic to diagnose root causes—comfortable going deep on unit economics without losing the strategic question
• Investor mindset: nose for value with a broad toolkit to reason about risk/reward
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in strategic finance, private equity / credit / venture capital, investment banking, and/or management consulting
• Excellent communication: credible, structured storytelling for executives and cross-functional partners; able to zoom-in and zoom-out between detail and narrative
• Team-oriented: motivated by business outcomes and being great at your craft in service of enabling them
• Strong modeling muscle: able to build and stress-test financial models that reflect a point of view, not just spreadsheet theory
• Cross-functional: track record building trust and influencing results alongside a variety of different stakeholder groups
• Experience in fintech and/or SMB enablement technology
• Knowledge of SQL
