Senior Software Developer (Kubernetes Compute)

Join Robinhood's Software Platform team as a Senior Software Developer. In this role, you will focus on building, operating, and expanding our container provisioning platforms. You will design resilient container infrastructure, contribute to our migration to Amazon EKS, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable platform integrations. Your work will directly impact our infrastructure's scalability and system uptime.

• Conception, construction, and operation of scalable container infrastructure using Kubernetes to support high-throughput financial applications.
• Participation in the technical execution of migrating core workloads to Amazon EKS while ensuring zero-downtime deployments.
• Collaboration with engineering teams across Robinhood to integrate core platform capabilities like service mesh, authentication, and load balancing.
• Experience deploying, debugging, and managing large-scale distributed systems or containerized platforms in a production environment
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes control plane and data plane components, including container lifecycle management
• Knowledge of container networking concepts, cluster security protocols, and open-source cloud-native tools
• Ability to plan and execute technical projects systematically while providing technical guidance to team members
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services and managed container environments like Amazon EKS
