Software Developer (Kubernetes Compute)

Join Robinhood, a fast-paced and high-performing team focused on applying frontier technologies to solve significant financial problems. As a Software Developer on the Kubernetes Compute team, you will build and maintain scalable container infrastructure, support the transition to Amazon EKS, and collaborate with engineering teams across the organization. This role is based in our Toronto office, with in-person attendance expected at least three days per week.

• Construire, maintenir et faire évoluer des plateformes de provisionnement de conteneurs, en mettant l'accent sur l'amélioration des capacités d'infrastructure.
• Collaborer avec des équipes d'ingénierie pour intégrer les capacités de la plateforme, telles que le maillage de services, l'authentification et l'équilibrage de charge.
• Participer à la transition technique vers Amazon EKS, en soutenant la mise en œuvre et les tests nécessaires.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining distributed systems or containerized infrastructure in a production setting
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure environments, preferably AWS ecosystems
• Strong collaborative communication skills and a desire to solve technical challenges systematically
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes core concepts, control plane components, and container environments
• Basic knowledge of container networking, infrastructure security protocols, or open-source cloud-native tools
