About The Role

Join ASAPP as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and take ownership of our infrastructure and product performance. You will design and implement tools for automation, work with product engineering teams on service architecture, and deliver infrastructure configuration as code. You will also implement monitoring and alerting systems, perform root cause analysis, and design secure networking infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate has over 4 years of relevant experience, a strong obsession with automation, and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Design and implement tools that automate building reliable and performant systems, focusing on building tools over manual processes.
Work with product engineering teams on service architecture and implementation, delivering infrastructure configuration as code and automating everything.
Direct and implement monitoring and alerting systems to support rapid problem diagnosis and help reduce MTTR, performing root cause analysis and delivering resolutions.
Understanding of complex systems and failure scenarios
Knowledge of AWS services, containers and container management frameworks
Proficiency in Terraform , Python and/or Go
Excellent communication skills
Participation in on-call rotation, triaging and addressing production issues
+4 years of relevant experience bringing software to production at high scale
Obsession with automation and instrumentation
Familiarity with Message Bus based systems and distributed architectures
BS or MS degree in the Computer Science field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Scalable distributed applications experience
Experience in product oriented environments
