Full Stack Software Engineer (Level 5)

• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des applications logicielles web et mobiles de pointe, en suivant des pratiques de conception et d'implémentation de haute qualité.
• Contribuer à la culture d'ingénierie de Snap en travaillant sur des bibliothèques et des systèmes partagés, et en loguant et analysant les métriques opérationnelles.
• Utiliser des outils d'IA et des flux de travail d'ingénierie à haute vitesse pour concevoir et expédier des services évolutifs tout en respectant des normes rigoureuses en matière de qualité du code.
• Experience optimizing JavaScript performance and browser layout rendering
• Highly proficient in Java, Golang, NodeJs, and/or Python
• Understanding of domain driven design principles
• Solid knowledge of unit testing
• Adaptability in learning and applying evolving AI systems and tools to remain at the forefront of engineering trends and modern development practices
• Highly proficient in JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, and CSS
• Writing code for User Interface components
• Ability to identify and resolve performance and scalability issue
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming principles
• Proficiency in, or a strong aptitude for, leveraging AI tools to streamline development, paired with the critical judgment to audit generated output for architectural integrity, performance bottlenecks, and security risks
• Experience developing front-end software using Javascript UI Frameworks (i.e React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience in front end design and/or web application development
• 6+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience; or Master’s degree in a technical field + 5+ year of post-grad software development experience; or PhD in a relevant technical field+ 2+ years of post-grad software development experience
• Experience with full stack web development
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with WebGL, Canvas, WebAssembly, Service workers, or other advanced front-end technology
• Experience with large-scale microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with NoSQL solutions, Memcache/Redis, Kubernetes, or Google/AWS services
• Passion for building a rich and innovative user experience
