Staff Electrical Engineer

Join Specs Inc., a subsidiary of Snap Inc., as a Staff Electrical Engineer. In this role, you will lead a project team of electrical engineers in developing next-generation AR products and experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, contract manufacturers, and vendors to deliver scalable designs to production. • Lead a project team of electrical engineers in the development of next-generation AR products and experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure electrical engineering deliverables across a multi-phase program.
• Provide support and guidance to the team to ensure on-time execution of deliverables, and occasionally take direct ownership when needed.
• Experience in electronic design, including component selection, schematic design, and familiarity with tools like Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture
• Knowledge of lab instrumentation, PDN/SI simulation tools
• Ability to run a technical program
• Familiarity with Rigid, Flex and Rigid Flex PCB design
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
• 11+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering
• Ability to travel including domestic and international
• BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent years of experience
• Advanced degree in a relevant field
• Excellent process development and documentation skills
• Demonstrated experience developing and shipping products at scale
