Quality Assurance Engineer

Join Darktrace, a leading cybersecurity company, as a Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, you will be part of the Release Engineering team, focusing on the EMAIL product. You will troubleshoot software issues, collaborate with support engineers, and act as a liaison to the development team. • Identifying and diagnosing new and reported issues within the Darktrace platform, and collaborating with the development team to resolve them.
• Liaising between the development team and the support team, acting as a key liaison to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Developing, configuring, and automating systems and services to improve the stability and efficiency of software updates across the Darktrace product suite.
• Candidates should also be familiar with Linux command lines and scripting languages like Python or Bash. Other essential skills include:
• The ability to collaborate effectively with others as well as work independently,
• A strong desire for continual learning,
• Understanding of core Unix system components such as services, package manager, and time daemon, with a track record of solving related problems
• Demonstrable networking knowledge, including basic concepts such as TCP, UDP, DNS, and the ability to troubleshoot related problems,
• While previous experience in DevOps or QA roles is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite
