Social Media Manager

Join Perplexity as a Social Media Manager, where you'll be responsible for expanding our online presence. This hands-on role involves managing our social channels, setting strategy, scaling our accounts, and engaging with our community. You'll work closely with our Communications and marketing team, product managers, and engineers. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in social media for a brand, preferably in tech and AI, and are comfortable in a fast-paced launch environment.

• 3+ years running social for a brand, ideally tech and AI
• Native fluency on Instagram and LinkedIn, with a track record of growing an account
• Demonstrated experience being entrusted with a brand voice
• Comfortable in a fast launch cycle where the plan changes often
• You can write. Send us posts you wrote that performed and tell us why they worked
• You know how to write for different audiences and platforms, and adjust the voice for each
• You follow AI closely and have opinions on how the best companies show up online
• You've written on behalf of leadership or other voices
• You've run or moderated a developer or technical community
