Android Software Engineer (Applications)

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications that enhance user experience and set new standards for in-vehicle software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new features from concept to production, ensuring seamless integration with Applied Vehicle OS.
• Optimize app performance, stability, and quality through best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Product-focused mindset and passion for building seamless, user-centric experiences
• Experience in Kotlin and Java for Android
• Self-starter attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• 1+ years of Android or iOS application development experience
• 1+ years of experience shipped apps at scale
• Track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.)
• Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and/or Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
