Hardware Integration Engineer

About The Role

Join our team as a Hardware Integration Engineer, where you will work closely with our hardware team on the buildout, testing, maintenance, and improvement of our autonomous vehicle fleet. You will be the lead technical reference for the self-driving system, providing vehicle integration support across the organization and troubleshooting vehicle systems.   • Collaborate with hardware engineers and technicians to support the buildout, testing, and maintenance of autonomous vehicle systems.
  • Lead vehicle integration efforts, including designing, prototyping, and installing proof-of-concept systems and sensors.
  • Troubleshoot vehicle systems, perform root cause analysis, and work to minimize vehicle downtime while ensuring safety.
  • Familiarity with CAD (or SolidWorks) design process is a plus
  • CNC, Machining, Metal Working and Welding experience
  • Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical or related field
  • Experience with Automotive Repair and Maintenance
  • Proven ability to read and understand electrical schematics, datasheets
  • Previous experience with low volume manufacturing in automotive or robotics industry
  • Experience using shop equipment, 3D printers, automotive diagnostic tools
  • Experience with documenting and maintaining detailed assembly procedures
  • Experience working with AV Components Lidars, Radars, Camera et
  • 1+ years technical experience in mechanical, electrical, computer, automotive or the robotics industry
