Onboarding Program Manager
Applied Intuition · Sunnyvale, United States
About The Role
Join Applied Intuition as an Onboarding Program Manager, where you'll design and execute our global onboarding program. This is a builder role that requires strategic vision and operational execution. You'll partner closely with various teams and have a direct impact on the new hire experience.
- Own the end-to-end strategy for the global onboarding program, setting the vision, roadmap, and success metrics.
- Design onboarding as a first-in-class program, benchmarking externally and building or substantially redesigning the resources, milestones, and touchpoints.
- Partner with Recruiting, People Operations, IT, and business leaders to ensure every system, account, and touchpoint is ready before a new hire’s first day.
- The person who thrives here has already built (or substantially rebuilt) a first-in-class onboarding or people program, knows how to translate a company’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and values into a new hire’s lived experience, and is comfortable operating in the ambiguity of a fast-growing, global organization
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a People or HR-related role
- A track record of designing programs that explicitly connect to and reinforce an organization’s Employer Value Proposition and culture
- Demonstrated experience building or substantially revising a first-in-class onboarding (or comparable people) program, including ownership of both the strategic design and the operational rollout
- The ability to anticipate change and pivot quickly to protect a great new-hire experience as the business scales
- A detail-oriented, data-driven mindset paired with strong presentation and communication skills
- Don’t meet every single requirement? If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles
- Success managing enterprise-level programs and projects, ideally across multiple regions or business units
- A proactive approach to problem-solving — you don’t just spot gaps; you fill them with speed and quality
- Fluency in Google Apps, Ashby, Workday, Slack, Jira
- PMP or PgMP certification
