Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Firmware)

Join our fast-moving team as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. In this role, you will integrate vendor components into a common software framework, implement real-time operating system applications, and develop high-quality C code for real-time embedded environments. You will also support hardware bring-up, work with cross-functional teams, and manage the process for maintaining company products. • Integrate vendor components into a common software framework, ensuring proper low-level communication.
• Implement real-time operating system (RTOS) applications as required for the product and architect high-quality C code.
• Support hardware bring-up, including low level debug of board and SoC, and work with cross-functional teams.
• We are looking for senior software engineers with expertise in developing embedded software applications on production computers to build the next-generation vehicle platform!
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working on embedded devices
• Strong background in embedded software development using C/C++ and assembly languages
• Hands-on experience with RTOS, Linux, and/or ARM systems
• Debugging skills in real world environments with embedded diagnostics tooling such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG etc
• Prior experience in developing on-vehicle technology, ZephyrOS, FreeRTOS
