Software Engineer (Maps Infrastructure)

Join our team as a Software Engineer specializing in Maps Infrastructure. In this senior role, you will own and maintain our HD maps infrastructure, collaborating with engineers and customers to build the future of our maps. You will define our map storage format, focusing on UIs, data pipelines, storage, and SDKs. • Own and maintain the HD maps infrastructure across all products, ensuring its reliability and performance.
• Define the map storage format to handle more features and distribute map data, focusing on user interfaces, data pipelines, and storage.
• Collaborate with engineers and customers on existing and future designs and features, driving innovation in the maps product suite.
• 2+ years of experience within software engineering
• Experience building software components or (sub) systems that address real-world mapping and localization challenges
• Working knowledge of C++ and/or Python
• Experience working in either autonomous vehicles or simulation products
