Systems Engineer (Vehicle Operating System)

Join Applied Intuition as a Systems Engineer specializing in Vehicle Operating Systems. In this role, you will create and manage system requirements for a new product, shape the technical direction of the project, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with developers, the QA team, and utilize tools like Polarion and Cameo. • Monitor and manage full system-level and software-level requirements for the overall built system and ensure that the system meets the intended requirements.
• Create system requirements and software requirements and define system bounds, capabilities, and functional features.
• Work with developers on a daily basis to provide guidance on technical implementation to ensure the actual design is as close as possible to the intended design.
• 2+ years of experience with systems engineering involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, analysis, and verification
• Experience with requirements validation and verification for subsystems as well as integrated system level components
• 2+ years of experience involving Model Based Systems Engineering approaches, methods, and techniques
• Experience testing real-world systems with sensors and production-level hardware and compute
• Extensive experience working with SysML and Cameo in Automotive, defense or aerospace industry
• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Experience in both initial requirements and final system validation
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
• Strong project management skills to make sure that the project deliverables are on track
