Technical Business Development (Japan Market (US-based))

Join Applied Intuition, a leading provider of software solutions for the automotive industry. As a Technical Business Development representative for the Japan market, you will bridge our Silicon Valley HQ with one of the world's most sophisticated industrial hubs. This high-visibility role is designed for an engineer by training, who is passionate about both technical depth and the business impact of large, strategic deals. You will engage with potential customers, lead discovery sessions, host workshops, and develop final customer solutions. This role has a direct growth path to 'Chief Engineer'.

• Serve as the technical anchor bridging the Silicon Valley HQ with the Japan market, leading discovery sessions and customer workshops.
• Develop final customer solutions in collaboration with Applied Intuition's Product and Engineering teams, and guide proposals through approvals.
• Plan revenue strategy and outlook for specific solutions in both automotive and other adjacent domains.
• 3 - 5 years of prior experience in automotive interest in relevant domains to guide our customers on what are the best practices
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience running multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Strong interest and capability to work with customers and drive customer engagements
• Ability to travel internationally once every 4-6 weeks on average
• Proven ability to work across stakeholders to execute complex projects
• Experience working with automotive software technologies
• Experience working on a product at a startup from Series A to IPO
• Professional fluency in Japanese (written and spoken) to support customers and partners in the Japan market
