Senior Simulation and Modeling Engineer

As a Senior Simulation and Modeling Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining and analyzing the flight of our Terran R rocket. You will work across various disciplines, including advanced modeling, orbital mechanics, software development, and dynamic systems. • Contribuer au développement d'algorithmes de vol, à la simulation de trajectoires et à la modélisation du comportement dynamique de Terran R.
• Être un contributeur clé à la simulation 6DOF utilisée pour le développement d'algorithmes GNC, l'analyse de Monte Carlo et les tests hardware-in-the-loop (HITL).
• Collaborer avec les équipes d'analyse et de matériel pour développer et intégrer des modèles de sous-systèmes dans la simulation 6DOF.
• Proficiency with compiled (e.g. C++, Rust) and scripted (e.g. Python) languages
• Ability to work in a fast paced and intense startup environment
• 5+ years of relevant full-time work experience
• Experience developing physics-based simulations of aerospace vehicles
• An undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/MS/PhD) in engineering, physics, mathematics or related disciplines
• Ability to complete projects with ownership of end-to-end solutions with a high degree of independence
• Familiarity with the design and analysis of launch vehicles or space systems
• Experience developing aerospace vehicle simulations that interface with GNC algorithms and/or hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing
• Experience implementing high-performance computing (HPC) solutions
• Experience implementing software development practices and workflows such as Docker, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD)
