Lead Solutions Engineer (Integrations)

Join Afresh, a company dedicated to reducing fresh food waste in the grocery industry. As a Lead Solutions Engineer, you will work directly with grocery retail partners to deploy our fresh food solution and drive the success of end-to-end integrations. You will apply your expertise in data architecture, operations, and predictive analytics to translate customers' business needs into technical design for integration to the Afresh platform. You will also collaborate cross-functionally and act as a connecting force between our integration technology and customers' operational reality.

• Own and execute integration projects from customer discovery through go-live, creating detailed project plans and coordinating stakeholders.
• Lead technical discovery and design engagements with customers, independently scoping data interfaces and negotiating delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product engineering, and data science to drive integration delivery, surfacing technical risks and ambiguities early.
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools
• Demonstrated ability to independently own and execute complex integration projects end-to-end, including scoping, stakeholder coordination, and on-time delivery
• Open to travel (up to 10%)
• Data transformation and design experience, with proven ability to work alongside data engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to implement customer integration requirements
• Experience leading technical discovery and solution design with customer IT stakeholders, including drafting design documentation and guiding customers through technical trade-offs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with AI/ML systems and identifying issues with data inputs used in predictive analysis
• Commercial mindset that allows you to understand and act on what customers care about most
