Strategic Finance Manager (Go-To-Market)

Join Toast, a high-growth company in the restaurant technology space, as a Strategic Finance Manager. In this role, you will partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive initiatives such as new business acquisition planning and budget optimization. You will provide financial and strategic thought leadership, facilitate executive decision-making, and analyze and report on key performance indicators. • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to drive initiatives including new business acquisition planning, budget optimization, and long-term strategic projects.
• Provide financial and strategic thought leadership supported by rigorous analysis, with a focus on new business acquisition targets and budget optimization.
• Analyze and report on GTM KPIs, including bookings forecasts and customer acquisition costs, in support of executive decision making.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A or Business Intelligence roles
• Proven track record as a finance business partner to Sales and Marketing organizations, with a strong emphasis on sales rep capacity modeling
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven success collaborating across a wide spectrum of stakeholders and developing high performing talent
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs used by teams throughout the company to size opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new initiatives
• Effective project management and communication skills; highly organized, independent, and self-motivated, with ability to build for scale and present to all levels of management
• Public company Strategic Finance experience
• Working knowledge of Adaptive
• Working Knowledge of SQL
• Experience leveraging generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate workflows, boost productivity, or enhance creative output
• Sales compensation/quota planning experience
