Manager of Engineering (Delivery & SDK)

Join Amplitude as an Engineering Manager to lead the Delivery and SDK team within Statsig. This role involves overseeing the global delivery infrastructure and ecosystem of 30+ SDKs, defining the technical strategy for highly available, low-latency evaluation and delivery systems, and partnering closely with product, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams. The ideal candidate should have experience leading teams responsible for developer infrastructure, distributed systems, or other business-critical production software, and possess a broad technical range across multiple programming languages, runtimes, and application platforms.

• Lead and grow the team responsible for Statsig’s global delivery infrastructure and ecosystem of 30+ SDKs.
• Define the technical strategy for highly available, low-latency evaluation and delivery systems operating at global scale.
• Establish shared architecture and quality standards across a large polyglot codebase while preserving the conventions and strengths of each platform.
• Experience leading teams responsible for developer infrastructure, distributed systems, or other business-critical production software
• The ability to connect infrastructure architecture, developer experience, and customer needs into a coherent technical roadmap
• Broad technical range across multiple programming languages, runtimes, and application platforms
• Experience building highly available, low-latency systems where failures can directly affect customers’ end-user experiences
• Experience developing production SDKs or developer-facing libraries, ideally across both native mobile and server-side environments
• A generalist mindset: you enjoy learning new technologies, moving between layers of the stack, and making sound decisions without needing to specialize narrowly in a single domain
• A strong understanding of API and SDK design, including ergonomics, backward compatibility, performance, release management, and safe adoption
