Director of Implementation

Join Payabli as the Director of Implementation, a key leadership role responsible for the successful end-to-end implementation lifecycle for our vertical software partners. You will oversee the Implementation team, track success metrics, and work cross-functionally with various teams. This position requires strong leadership skills, a high level of expertise in our products and services, and a focus on process optimization. • Oversight of the end-to-end implementation lifecycle for vertical software partners, ensuring successful project execution and tracking success metrics.
• Leadership of the Implementation team, including Solutions Engineering and Merchant Onboarding, while also being a player/coach and actively participating in various processes.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Solution Engineering, Onboarding, and Partner Success, to ensure a seamless implementation experience for customers.
• 8+ years of professional experience, including 4–6+ years leading complex customer implementations or onboarding programs in SaaS, fintech, or API-driven platforms, with at least 3 years managing teams
• Proven leadership experience, managing teams, with quantifiable performance improvement
• Experience in embedded payments or finance highly preferred, or adjacent experience in a high growth enterprise software platform
• Experience with payment processing concepts including payment acceptance, vendor payables, tokenization, PCI compliance, and transaction flows
• Skills building AI driven processes, agentic workflows and automations
• Working understanding of APIs, SDKs, webhooks, various other platform integration concepts
• Leadership experience in a player/coach type of role is a plus, or natural ability to guide and influence others
