Senior Solutions Engineer

Join Payabli as a Senior Solutions Engineer, where you will lead post-sales integration projects for new software partners and enhance integrations for existing partners. You will work closely with Sales Engineers, Account Management, Operations, and other teams to ensure a smooth implementation and error-free launch. You will also become an expert in all of our products and APIs, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and operate with an AI-first mindset to innovate integration processes. • Drive post-sales integration projects for new and existing software partners, ensuring a high-quality process and execution-focused approach.
• Act as the Project Manager for the implementation of new partners, collaborating with various teams to ensure a smooth implementation and error-free launch.
• Translate business requirements into unique technical solutions, design and present tailored integration project plans, and track and report on project progress.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, curl) and debugging techniques
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or similar)
• Proven track record of creating and implementing complex technical solutions for software partners
• Experience with payment processing concepts including tokenization, PCI compliance, and transaction flows
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and modern integration patterns
• Have 5+ years of experience Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Product Management, Technical Support, or similar role for a Payments or Fintech company
• Understanding of payment industry fundamentals (acquiring, issuing, card networks, ACH)Familiarity with PCI DSS compliance requirements and security best practices
• Have an innate sense of humility and honesty with an open mind for feedback
• Are a self-starter who is resourceful and able to independently run work streams, and also willing to be scrappy and think of creative solutions
• Leadership experience in a player/coach type of role is a plus, or natural ability to guide and influence others
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a structured and user-friendly way to an audience of C-Suite enterprise clients as well as engineers at early stage startups

• Good business understanding or Support processes as well as Risk and Underwriting processes
• Previous experience with a hypergrowth, successful technology company
• Specific experience with embedded payments platform
