Cloud Engineer

Join The Economist Group as a Cybersecurity Engineer, where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading the organization's cybersecurity measures. You will conduct pen tests, risk assessments, and work with various teams to develop new policies and processes. You will also assist engineering teams in developing secure systems, audit embedded code for vulnerabilities, and lead security engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science or cyber security, previous experience in cyber security, and knowledge of security frameworks.

• Support teams to implement, identify and advance security at the Economist.
• Conduct pen tests and risk assessments to prioritize threats and compare mitigation strategies.
• Work with Economist teams, external suppliers and engage with the customer to develop new policies, design processes / procedures and develop technical designs to drive remediation.
