About The Role
Join our Paris team as an HR & Office Manager for a 9-month fixed-term contract. In this dual role, you will manage day-to-day HR administration and office operations for approximately 70 employees. You will be the key point of contact for local employees, employee representatives, and international stakeholders, ensuring smooth administrative operations and full local compliance. Your responsibilities will include onboarding and offboarding, personnel administration, payroll coordination, employee relations support, regulatory compliance, HR processes and programs, facilities and workplace management, vendor management, and event planning. The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of experience in a similar role, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a strong command of French employment law, and fluency in both French and English.
- Gérer l'administration des ressources humaines, y compris l'intégration et le départ des employés, la gestion des dossiers du personnel et la coordination de la paie.
- Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour les employés locaux, en répondant à leurs questions et en assurant la conformité avec la législation du travail française.
- Superviser les opérations quotidiennes du bureau, y compris la gestion des fournisseurs locaux, l'organisation d'événements d'équipe et la coordination des activités de l'entreprise.
- Experience: Around 5 years of proven experience in a similar combined role (HR Administration + Office Management) in France
- Interpersonal Skills & Discretion: Excellent communication skills with a "can-do", service-oriented attitude, combined with a high level of discretion and professional ethics when handling sensitive or confidential HR data
- Organisational Skills: Highly structured and organised, with a proven ability to seamlessly prioritize multi-disciplinary tasks between HR and facility/office management
- Education & Legal Knowledge: Strong command of French employment law and HR administration. Proven, practical experience working under the Syntec Collective Agreement (CCN) is highly preferred, as you will be responsible for ensuring local compliance and alignment
- Operational Autonomy: A self-starter who thrives with a high degree of operational autonomy. You are completely comfortable being the sole "go-to" person on the ground for the Paris site, managing multiple deadlines independently
- Languages: Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken). You must be comfortable translating local legal concepts into English for international managers
- Tech-savvy: Confident using HRIS and modern collaboration tools (experience with Personio, Google Workspace, and Slack is a strong advantage)
