About The Role

Join Graphcore as a Lead Atlassian Cloud Platform Engineer. In this role, you will own our Atlassian Cloud ecosystem, ensuring architectural integrity, security, and scalable expansion. You will manage multiple Atlassian Cloud sites, define governance standards, and establish a configuration-as-code operating model. Additionally, you will lead automation efforts, develop self-service capabilities, and provide enterprise-level support. Strong collaborator management and consultancy skills
Proven ability to operate independently, set direction, and deliver outcomes
Strong understanding of access control based on user identity and automated provisioning models
Extensive experience coordinating Atlassian Enterprise Cloud
Experience connecting Atlassian with Azure AD (or a similar IdP)
Proficient scripting abilities (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Go) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in audit-controlled or governance-heavy environments
Demonstrated experience implementing configuration-as-code approaches for SaaS platforms
Experience automating project configuration and enforcing standardisation at scale
Proven experience operating as a lead or primary Atlassian platform owner
Strong automation expertise (Jira Automation, REST APIs, scripting)
Experience crafting secure multi-tenant or cross-company collaboration environments
Solid understanding of data governance, security boundaries, and compliance considerations
Atlassian certifications
Experience directing large-scale collaboration efforts across multiple companies
Experience building internal self-service platforms
Experience defining enterprise-wide workflow standards
Familiarity with DevOps tooling and infrastructure-as-code concepts
