About The Role

Join Graphcore, a leading AI hardware and software company, as a Software Engineer in Build Engineering. In this role, you will be part of a new team within the Software Operations group, focusing on the overall process of building and integrating the Machine Learning Software Stack. You will work closely with QA and development teams, develop internal tooling, provide guidance on best build practices, and contribute fixes to the ML Software Stack. Contribuer au développement d'outils internes pour la construction, les tests et l'intégration de la pile logicielle d'apprentissage automatique.
Fournir des conseils aux développeurs sur les meilleures pratiques de construction et la gestion des dépendances.
Communiquer régulièrement avec les développeurs, les responsables techniques et les architectes logiciels sur les aspects de la pile logicielle d'apprentissage automatique.
Knowledge of Python/C++ (or similar language)
Experience working in Linux environments
Understanding of Build Processes and Frameworks
Good communication skills
An understanding of Software Architecture patterns
Experience with building and using containers (e.g. Docker, Podman)
Experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with Integration Tools (e.g. Buildstream)
Experience with Testing Frameworks (e.g. PyTest, GoogleTest)
Experience with Build Tools (e.g. CMake)
Experience with Remote Caching and Execution (e.g. Bazel)
