About The Role

Join Rula, a fast-growing company in the healthcare industry, as a Senior EAP Operations Associate. In this role, you will manage partner billing cycles, prepare and submit billing files, review remittances and payment feedback, and investigate discrepancies. You will also identify opportunities for workflow improvement and support automation initiatives.   • Independently manage partner billing cycles, prepare and submit billing files, review remittances and payment feedback, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate across teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, support automation and process initiatives, and help scale billing processes as new EAP partners are onboarded.
  • Create concise, actionable documentation (training materials or process docs) for both technical and non-technical audiences, and leverage tools such as Salesforce, AMD, payer portals, and Google Suite/Microsoft Office to drive optimization.

  • Experience creating concise, actionable documentation (training materials or process docs) for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to independently improve and optimize processes, leveraging tools such as Salesforce, AMD, payer portals (e.g., Availity), and Google Suite/Microsoft Office (including Excel/Google Sheets) to drive optimization
  • Experience applying structure, prioritization, and effective communication to solve problems, not just for the current state but also to predict future needs

  • 3+ years of experience in billing, collections, or a related role contributing to end-to-end transformation (process, technology, and people) in a high-growth operational environment
  • Experience in healthcare or a startup environment
  • Familiarity with diverse insurance billing types (commercial, EAP, Medicare/Medicaid, etc.)
  • Tech savviness, natural technical aptitude, and fluency with Google Suite, Salesforce, ZenDesk, AdvancedMD/EHR, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle management, with a focus on healthcare billing, payment posting, and/or credit management, including knowledge of credit management for insurance and governmental payers (Medicare or Medicaid)
