Senior iOS Engineer

Join Twitch as a Senior iOS Engineer in the Mobile Core team, where you'll develop frameworks and tools to enhance mobile experiences. You'll work on core features like Video Playback, architect strategic solutions, and contribute to high-impact initiatives. This role offers the flexibility to work from various locations, including Seattle, Irvine, San Francisco, or New York City.

• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency with Swift and the iOS architectural components and ecosystem
• A talent for building consensus around technical decisions and guiding the team along evolving architecture patterns
• 6+ years of building and shipping production iOS applications to the Apple App Store
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate development
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across teams
• Track record of leading major architectural initiatives, migrations, or platform-level projects
• Experience with hybrid mobile architectures, WebView integration, JavaScript bridges, React, or React Native
• Experience working on platform or infrastructure teams that support multiple product teams
• Experience with video streaming or real-time communication technologies
