Senior Manager of SIRT

Join Twitch as the Senior Manager of the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT). In this role, you will lead a team responsible for detecting and handling security incidents, advocating for lessons learned from incidents across the organization. You will communicate security incident details and impact assessments to leadership and executive partners, and foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within your team and across the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response, as well as a background in cloud, host, network, and application security.

• Lead and oversee Twitch's Security Incident Response Team, ensuring effective detection and handling of security incidents.
• Identify opportunities for automation to enhance the team's efficiency and implement improvements.
• Communicate security incident details, impact assessments, and response actions to leadership and executive partners.

• You bring expertise in threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response
• Your team will work directly with affected teams to contain and learn from incidents
• You have a background in cloud, host, network, and application security
• You have delivered security programs like network security monitoring, cloud security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, or other reactive information security programs
• You have in-depth knowledge of internet security issues and the threat landscape
• You have automation experience using scripting or programming languages (Go, Python, Ruby, or Bash)
• Your approach to incident response is collaborative, not combative
• You have 5+ years managing a team of incident handlers and security engineers, or 2 years of management experience with at least 3 years of hands-on security incident response work
• Experience managing and mitigating high impact security risks on a global platform
• Familiarity with Twitch
