Financial Accountant

Join our fast-growing company as a Financial Accountant. In this role, you will support the Financial Reporting Manager with a focus on statutory reporting, audit, tax, and transactions. Key responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, acting as a primary contact for auditors, supporting tax compliance, and contributing to group reporting. • Financial Reporting: Prepare statutory accounts for multiple entities under IFRS / FRS 101/102, own the production of financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules.
• Audit: Act as a primary contact for auditors, owning delivery of accurate and well-prepared audit information, prepare audit files, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Tax & Transactions: Support corporation tax compliance across the group, including supporting tax provisioning, reporting requirements, and coordination with external advisors.
• This role is ideally suited to someone newly qualified or with up to 1–2 years’ post-qualified experience, with a strong technical background and a desire to take ownership early in their industry career
• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of deliverables
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality output
• Clear and confident communicator, able to explain technical accounting concepts
• Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge and think critically
• Motivated to grow quickly in a fast-paced, scaling environment
• Experience working on complex or high-judgement audit areas
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) - 1-2 years + post qualified experience
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs
• Strong audit background (Big 4 or leading mid-tier preferred)
• Solid technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/UKGAAP)
• Strong Excel and data handling capability
