Insurance Manager

Join LSEG as an Insurance Manager, where you will support the Head of Corporate Insurance in delivering the Group's global insurance strategy. You will be responsible for assessing group-wide insurance requirements, handling renewal processes, supporting claims handling, and partnering with business and functional partners to ensure strong ownership of insurance risks. This role requires a deep understanding of global insurance markets, partner management experience, and a degree in Business, Finance, Risk, Law, or a related field.

• Assisting with assessing group-wide insurance requirements, handling renewal processes, supporting claims handling, and partnering with business and functional partners.
• Managing and developing positive relationships with key insurance partners, including brokers and insurers, and supporting the Head of Corporate Insurance with Mergers and Acquisitions activity.
• Identifying areas for improved insurance risk management practices across the Group and supporting the embedding of related processes across the organisation to mitigate insurance risk.
• Professional insurance qualification (e.g., ACII) is highly desirable
• Willingness to embrace use of AI and other tooling
• Deep understanding of global insurance markets and risk transfer mechanisms
• Demonstrable experience of partner management within a large, complex or global organisation
• Familiarity with risk frameworks and first‑line/second‑line responsibilities
• Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Risk, Law or related field
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, negotiation and presentation skills
• Extensive experience working in an insurance related capacity. Financial Lines experience is preferable
• Strong organisational skills, and ability to prioritise effectively under pressure to ensure adherence to deadlines
