About The Role

Join our FX group as a Lead Software Engineer, where you will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to build and implement the technical strategy for a set of Engineering Products. You will lead change in exciting software challenges and customer solutions, and play a crucial role in addressing complex challenges and taking them to resolution. This is a phenomenal opportunity for individuals who enjoy solving a variety of problems and relish the chance to lead the resolution of exciting and new challenges on a regular basis.

Experience in 3+ of:
Kafka (event-driven messaging)
Experience or familiarity with financial messaging protocols - particularly FIX is desirable
Redis
GitLab CI (or AWS equivalents)
Azure PaaS (Event Hub, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Azure Cache, etc.)
Strong programming skills in at least one language (C++ preferred; Java/others a plus)
Terraform / Helm
Consistent track record in software development and delivery technology and industry expertise through certifications, professional qualifications
SQL (Oracle / SQL Server)
Exposure to at least one of: Business/Technical Analysis, QA, Delivery Management, or Emerging Tech & Governance
Occasional out of hours work, including overnight and at weekends and Bank Holidays may be requested, as well as on-call technical support
