Python Developer

Join Quantile, a leading financial technology company, as a mid-level Python Developer. In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing systems that power large-scale optimization runs used by global financial institutions. You will collaborate with colleagues in Product Development and Financial Engineering to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions while continuing to develop your expertise in infrastructure systems and software engineering. The technology stack is centered on Python, AWS services, and React.

• Contribuer à la construction et à l'amélioration des systèmes qui alimentent les exécutions d'optimisation à grande échelle utilisées par des institutions financières mondiales.
• Collaborer avec des collègues en développement de produits et en ingénierie financière pour fournir des solutions fiables et de haute qualité.
• Développer des API et des services backend pour la génération de scénarios et l'intégration avec des bibliothèques quantitatives.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Git, and SQL
• Experience working with trade booking, middle-office, or post-trade systems, and familiarity with standards such as MarkitWire, FpML, or FIX protocol
• Familiarity building data-intensive applications, including use of PyData stack
• Strong Python skills
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Exposure to AI-assisted tools or workflow automation in a secure, responsible engineering environment
• Knowledge of financial derivatives, clearing and the basics of margin and capital regulatory requirements
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, and understanding of software design principles (including SOLID), clean code practices, and object-oriented programming
• Affinity with Java and/or C++ programming
