Senior Lead Java Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Lead Java Engineer, where you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of critical Java-based applications for the SwapClear Clearing operations. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to testing and production support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java, front-end development, and cloud technologies, as well as experience in the finance domain.

• Conception, développement et maintenance d'applications Java critiques pour les opérations de compensation SwapClear.

• Deep understanding of RESTful services and understanding microservices architecture
• Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks
• Strong in Java 17+ and frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Apache
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
• Experience with performance tuning and system optimization
• Proven experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability using Java
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Deep understanding of relational databases, SQL language and ORM tools
• Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and technologies
• Deep understanding of message brokers
• Knowledge of observability tools
• Experience with the finance domain
• Knowledge of FpML
