Senior Manager of Risk (Workspace, Data & Analytics)

As a Senior Manager of Risk, you will play a crucial role in overseeing non-financial and strategic risks within the Data & Analytics division. You will work closely with the Head of Risk for D&A Workflows and Communities, focusing on LSEG's flagship Workspace product and its strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end risk oversight, risk integration in change and strategy, technology and AI risk assessment, risk framework ownership, first line partnership and challenge, governance, remediation and assurance, and insight generation and investigation. • Oversight of product, platform, and supporting infrastructure risks, including BAU risk monitoring, incident trend analysis, and key risk indicators.
• Providing independent Second Line input on emerging, strategic, and change risks, ensuring risk considerations are embedded in design, development, and client transition.
• Driving the evolution and consistent application of the Enterprise Risk Framework across the Workspace business, ensuring alignment with organisational standards.
• Sound judgement in balancing complex, competing factors to drive pragmatic, risk-informed outcomes
• Ability to translate complex risk, technology, and data topics into clear, concise, committee-ready insights and recommendations
• Solid grounding in modern technology stacks, data architectures, and AI development/integration, with the ability to assess associated risks and trade-offs
• Deep experience in enterprise risk management within financial services, fintech or data services, with solid grasp of financial markets, products, and client ecosystems
• Efficiency at operating within dynamic environments, building relationships across various internal functions, and adapting to evolving business priorities
• Proven expertise in large-scale technology transformation, including agile delivery, with the ability to embed risk thinking into strategic change initiatives
