Senior Project Manager (Risk Intelligence, 12 month FTC)

About The Role
Join the Risk Intelligence division, where you'll lead complex, large-scale projects focused on fighting financial crime. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing project resources and budgets. You'll also have the opportunity to coach and manage project team members, drive continuous improvement, and build trusted relationships with internal and external partners.
- Lead and deliver complex, large-scale projects across the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery against defined success criteria.
- Coordinate delivery activities and communications around project status and progress, working closely with Product Engineering Teams.
- Manage project resources, budgets, and roadmaps, tracking progress and proactively addressing slippage and dependencies.
- Proactively seeks opportunities to improve for processes and ways of working
- Proven track record of monitoring delivery performance and intervening decisively when cost, schedule, or resource tolerances are exceeded
- Experience in estimating costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project
- Experience designing and operating effective communication and reporting rhythms, producing clear and accurate management information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Significant experience (typically 5+ years) leading complex projects and programmes in a structured delivery environment
- Demonstrated experience resolving team conflicts, building collaborative partner relationships, and making clear, timely decisions
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage risks and issues to the benefit of the project
- Displays resilience and composure, remaining outcome‑focused in a complex, fast‑paced, environment
- Maintains a High Agency approach to delivery and problem solving
- Continuously embraces a pragmatic, flexible and adaptable approach
- Maintains constructive, inclusive and encouraging working relationships
- Is upbeat, self‑motivated, and delivery‑driven, able to work autonomously while motivating and inspiring others
